My Life Analogy
When I explain my life its much like Lewis Carroll's famous book "Alice Through the Looking Glass" otherwise known as "Alice In Wonderland."
It has nothing to do with drug references, as many would confuse because the story has a much deeper, more complex story behind it.
My life has been the kind of adventure Alice had in Wonderland, a greater path of self-discovery than most. Learning exactly who I am. Travelling in every direction, every pathway, every road, except forward for so long.
Alice asked for many directions completely misguided entering the adult world and with much help along the way she found the right direction in the end & she found herself.
By the end of the coming of all this abruptly I suddenly awoke and know who I am and can answer my name and myself quite confidently. She was now able to survive in the adult world.
I have made many memorable friends along the way. Some I still see and some I miss each day.
Without sounding self-absorbed (which is hard to do on an "about me" section) I have used this famous story as an analogy of "who i am". Right down to the corporate powers and Queen of Hearts of this world that took advantage of my vulnerability.
Now as I know whom I am. I know I will someday (and within 5 years) travel to places I so badly wish to see. Meet people and hear THEIR stories and adventures. And in a decade see the world. Live as long as my time here gives me and help as many friends as I can. I don't turn away the prodigal friends that come back. The world needs love & everyone deserves a better life. :)
